10/9 Hatteras Offshore Fishing Report

Brisk north winds made the seas a little choppy today, and fishing a little more difficult.

I found a good change this morning but the grass was streaked off with the wind, and not easy to fish. We found a couple of schools of dolphin but the ten hour flu had set in on most of my party, making it even more challenging to capitalize. Further to the east there were some blackfin tuna and a couple of wahoo being caught but judging by the condition of my crew, I suggested getting closer to the beach and looking for calmer seas and a king mackerel. We caught a handful of albacore and finally one king, but my whole crew perked back up and was smiling! Thanks guys!
