Today we were after tuna, but wound up kinda stuck in the middle.
The boats that stayed closer to home had good catches of king mackerel on live bait, dolphin and a wahoo or two. We headed east to find tuna. The current was screaming and the fish weren’t cooperative. A few boats fished further to the east but I decided to wait where I was and hope for a few bites. Phil caught a 50 pound yellowfin and we did land one out of a couple nice blackfins, but the bite got a little better in the afternoon for the guys that fished up. Still, we got a couple of nice fish and they owe us for next time. Thanks Mark!
