The “Godspeed”

The “Godspeed”

The Godspeed was built locally in “down east” Carteret county, NC, in 1980.  She spent the first 40 years of her life as a charter/commercial fishing boat out of Ocracoke, NC.  She was Captain Ronnie O’Neal’s baby, the “Miss Kathleen”.  I bought her from Ronnie in 2020 and she continues to do an amazing job on the coastal waters in and around Hatteras inlet.

A 375 hp Caterpillar diesel provides good power for the Godspeed, and the deep “full” keel allows her to fish in the shoals comfortably, where we often search for Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and red drum.

Plan a trip with us next time you are in town.  We’ll have a blast and catch some fish!
